I Have been in the music business for 25 years, serving my apprenticeship playing acoustic guitar and singing lead vocals in different bands.
My christian name is Gerry, but so many people know me by my nickname ”Dougie” that I have given up choosing!
I have written various songs about my experiences in life, and recorded some of them as singles and an album. |

I have appeared on TV in the UK & Ireland playing support to Ralph Mc Tell, Christy Moore, The Furey Bros, Mary Black, Foster and Allan, Jim McCann, Paddy Reilly to name but a few.
I have also played at the Ulster Hall with “Gerry Anderson/Sean Coyle and featured on Radio Ulster with George Jones. I have had the pleasure of fronting a 15 piece big band, Playing support to the Drifters on tour including the “Waterfront” in Belfast. Also The “City Hall” and The “Millennium Forum” Derry, for Joe Gallagher, and in Dublin for “Tara O Connor”. Plus I’ve been Featuring each year in the “City of Derry jazz festival”
About 5 years ago I put the Sinatra and Rat Pack mix together in Spain and performed for a few seasons before returning to Ireland. Then I recorded 2 CD’s "Like Father, Like Son" & "All the Way, Sinatra" and established myself as a professional “Crooner” travelling widely and consolidating my repertoire.
The “Rat Pack” Act involves entertaining the audience and involving them where appropriate. I have discovered many talented singers willing to take the microphone and join in the fun of a walk down memory lane…….
Last year I began to spread my wings in the US also Germany and London and back and forth to Spain.
The Rat Pack show continues to bring me and thankfully many others a great deal of joy and satisfaction, and it is my hope to refine and share these classic songs into the “wee small hours” of my life……….
